I have a 30 gal tank at home which I placed some small bluegill from our pond before it was drained for renovation. They had a case of ich which I cleared up, this occured 2 months ago. Now the have what looks like white parasite on one of the fish, almost worm like. Petshop said it is anchor worm. Does this sound right and is it common? Got meds for them and waiting for it to work. Never saw this on any of the fish taken out of the pond.
