Theo,
Like you I guess I'm not grown up yet. I spent my early years in the Springfield area. So I guess I'm right on that I-70 line. My mom still lives there. We spent a lot of time up by Sandusky/Bass Islands though and Russels Point or Indian Lake whatever it's called now.

Well, having grown up as a southern California surfer, we have a lingo all to our own...

Dude look at this most heinous skinny fish.

Bro, that is wayyy cool.

Dude, what do you think this tasty morsel is called?

Bro, I think they call that a crappie fish.

Dude, don't harsh my buzz, your just calling it a crappie fish 'cause you didn't have the skill set to land this bad boy

No way Bro, thats the name... crappie fish. How'd you catch him?

Dude, like I tied on this thing with white feathers 'cause the red eye reminded me of what you looked like friday night, then I flung it into the lake. I felt a tug on the line and said "Hey Bud, lets partaaay."

Bro, I hear that it's six foot and hollow over at Sandstone Beach, lets go surfin.

Yea Dude, lets go surfn.

While I don't want DIED to have to re-do the map, I want to stress that we are "wash" here in Pittsburgh, PA.

However, we are undecided on whether there is a "creek" or a "crik" running behind our house.

Wash and crop-ee are correct for SD! Good job with limited info, D.I.E.D.

Does that creek flow through a hollow or a holler? And if we wanted to have some cropee and warsh it down with a non-alcoholic refreshment, would we drink a soda or a pop?

BTW I pronounce almond the same way as you, but I leave the "d" off the end. Kinda like Aww-man (shucks)! ;\)

Ok oh smart ones. Since we have ventured off the original path (partly my own doing \:o )... do I have any takers on the pronunciation of the location of our hatchery. Here are your clues: the spelling is "Alapaha" and the origin is American Indian. Any bravehearts out there??? \:D
