I s'pose that you and the rest of us might feel better when the core is pumped dry and packed tightly with clay from the "strip mine". Is there any explanation as to how he determined how deep to go to terminate the lateral flow? Presumably, the core bottom is at or below the deepest area of the pond basin...correct?
