We have a part of our pond next to the tullies we call "the disposal". Aside from the worms and yellow jackets we dispose of mice , a headless rattle snake and today a huge tranchula . And I dont think any of the LMB are over 16 inches. If you toss it there the water explodes and all is gone. I was working on the dock and a swallows nest fell in .I couldn't grab any in time, they even ate the eggs. On the other end of the topic,being a gluttin, when I was younger I had a LMB in a tank and his mouth would be so full of gold fish it wouldn't close, but he would keep going after them just to kill'em. I was going to insult the intelligents of the LMB but I was acting the same way with a NewYork strip at Ruths' Chris Steak House the other night... Kevin
