OK here is a pic of a Bass caught yesterday by my son. It looked smaller then one caught earlier this year, does it look ok to you guys? I don't know much about Bass. I know the CC are fat and healthy, but I was wondering if this Bass looks to be in good condition for its size?  OH BTW son is 6ft3 and weighs around 290 so he kinda makes the Bass look small LOL.

From the picture, it looks skinny. However, pictures can be deceiving. Look up RW ratios on the site here. That will give you the analysis tools to do the job.

It has a flat belly and looks underfed. You may have an out of balance condition regarding bass and bluegill or predator and prey.
Look for the RW tables. Greg Grimes has them on his website. Start logging the length and weight of all bass caught. That will give you a good idea of "balance".

He has that lean, hungry look I like my LMB to have, toward the goal of big BG.
My guess is he's 2, maybe 3 oz short of 100% RW.

Theo brings up a good point. If your goal is big bluegill, this guy has the lean, hungry look you want. However, if you really want bigger bass, this guy isn't really getting quite enough groceries.
