I am glad you asked about that. I believed I had stocked with 75%CNBG and 25%RES. However, I have had a couple of 'strange looking fish' over the past year. I suspect there may be some green sunfish genetics mixed in (to my dismay). I will post another pic that may help clarify things.

Interesting to go through the process with you on this. If the lepomis (BG , RES ,GSF , etc et al )all grow as well as the BG above a few odd genes will be ok. \:\) That fish may have a few GSF genes but I bet not many and it sure grew well.I look forward to your next pic. We have done the same a number of times here and it is fun. I can find some links to the discussions if you like. Here is one.
