lest i forgot to whom i wuz speaking,....sorry brettski, should have realized you'd uv thunk out all the contingencies....
hmmmmm, english letters to make english words......i would go for statements such as
"steep banks, drowning hazards,
"shallow submerged hazards",
"soft bottom hazards",
"seasonal thin ice hazards"
the above would make more sense accompanied by the laundry list signs
"pond off limits"
"stay away from pond edge",
"no swimming",
"no wading",
"do not walk on ice"
however young children may still see this as the ancient arabic font and have no clue what any of that means. there could be value in posting those funny little pictures of people drowning, falling in, cutting there feet on sharp submerged objects, getting trapped under ice, etc.
