From SRAC Publication No. 180, Channel Catfish Life History and Biology : Spawning temps from 75 deg F to 85 deg F (preferred 80 deg F), time period from late February to August depending on location. I think it's too late for her to have just spawned, but not too late for spawning injuries to remain. Perhaps someone will have a good idea on how long typical CC skin abrasions take to heal.
