When do CC spawn? I was fishing my pond this weekend and caught a female, I think, with a skined spot on the head, between the eyes, close to the mouth. I have read here that they bite each other during the spawn, are they spawning now? I thought they did that in the spring.
Any way I let her go and caught 2 big (8-10lbs) males, and one around 5lbs. Good eatin'.
