Sam, there is really nothing for the forage to eat at this time. They live on tiny bugs that live on zooplankton which live on phytoplankton. I doubt if there is a good phyto base yet.


Prags, give the pond water some time to become naturally fertile. In West Texas, you probably don't need fertilizer. And, if you don't need it, you dang sure don't want it.
