Jeff, if you share ownership in a lake, it is not such a great situation unless you and the other owners are on the exact same page as far as what you want from the lake.

For example, say that no one else wants to invest in fish (forage and predators), so you go ahead and pay for everything. The other owners still have just as much right to reap all the benefits of the time and money you have put in.

Perhaps you could start a new topic such as "Ponds with Shared Owners" and you could better solicit the experiences of those owners.

Also, you might have to get approval for anything you want to do regarding the lake. This can really tie up progress.

There are several members here that have similar situations, and many of them are trying to make the best of it.
