When a pond has lots of bullheads the water will be cloudy or turbid during the warm seasons. A pond with too many or numerous bullheads is also suffering from too many hogs feeding at the trough meaning food items are in short supply. If you fish this shallow 6ft deep pond with the hook worm and bobber expect to catch numeous bullheads since at 6 ft deep they will not be very far away from your fishing depth. Bullheads especially on cloudy days or evening will readily come off the bottom several feet for a food item (worm on a hook). I can get quite a few bullheads feeding at the surface on pellets in the early evening several hours before dark.
