My pond is really doing great. I am now fighting a water milfoil problem, but I am getting it under control. The problem is I kept two 2lb channel cats to eat. They taste just like the milfoil smells. A bitter, musty smell. Is there anything I can do to improve the taste? I need to start to harvest some of these fish, but can't really eat them like this. Will the taste go away when the weed is gone? Thanks, Tom

Here's a link on the subject. Not sure the milfoil has anything to do with it. Thanks guys. I do keep the algea mostly under control, but it sure seems like that is the problem. I think a good airiation system would also help produce good tasting fish.
