With your ponds and goals you should search here for catchability and start learning about LMB in small ponds if you have not already done so. There is also an article earlier this year in PB on the matter by Dave Willis and Bill Cody.

What type of LMB did you stock (Fla. , Northerns or F-1s). If you want a few 10 lb. LMB you may need to stock a few female Fla. or F-1s in the fall. It is a rare northern strain LMB that gets to 10 lbs.

With 200 lbs of LMB per acre plus any year to date growth you will really have to watch their offspring numbers starting next year. I hope a very high % become forage quick or you will be overrun by 6 inch LMB. BG will eat a bunch of yoy LMB but with no current year class of LMB (now 4-6 inch) to help the BG eat next springs LMB hatch it will be interesting.
