we had this mini-barn built last year on our property. You can have the builder include a floor/deck under the carport to serve as a porch for a couple rocking chairs. Inside has tons of storage space, plus a loft for sleeping when we camp out there. Something like this might suit your needs...

Ok I have been working on this deal for a long time, either waiting for the help and weather or waiting for the equipment but I have my pond shed/cabin finally at the farm. A little back ground first, I was at a customers house about 6 months ago and I commented on his tree house on how cool it was and his comment to me was "Do you want it?" I was like whoa heck yes I want it, so I went to look at it up close, WOW its 10 ft. off the ground it a tree,
He said yep thats the problem I dont want it around for the kids to fall out of, he purchased the home few years back and it was already built. So I conjured up a plan and it involved alot of favors and help from all my buddies and family members, We are going to lower it down out of the trees and put it on a trailer, it would take some heavy machinery thought so I called a buddy and Wala a big fork lift was aquired
Here we are cutting the supports to get it down on the back side, we have 2 6000lb chain falls for the back and the boom truck in the front Oh by the way that is me in the blue shirt on the right. here we are lowering it down from the back side Here it is on the ground ready to back the trailer underneath it for th 3 1/2 mile trip to my place and here it is resting at its new home from the inside looking out towards the pond and this is this evening I temporarily wired up for lights and here is a picture of the inside, The darn thing has a ceiling fan electrical outlets and front and rear porch lights and hard wood floors with lofts on each side. I have other pictures but I figured it would take too much bandwidth

Trials,

Congratulations! That cabin/shed is the perfect addition to the pond. What is the sq footage?

Now I have seen a treehouse (albeit an extremely overqualified one) moved!

Very nice, T.G. That nighttime picture looks almost ready for Halloween.

The cabin itself is 10x12 120sq feet with lofts on each side on a 12x16 deck, I think I will add a 10x10 deck off the back because some of the boards had to be cut to get it down so I may go ahead and add on to the seating area
