Do Fathead Minnows eat colonial and blue algae like tilapia? I can't get any tilapia in my area and am wondering if this could be an alternative?

J.A.M. : Take a look at this link from fishbase on food items for FH. http://filaman.ifm-geomar.de/TrophicEco/...pecies=promelas While they will eat some plankton (bluegreen algae) I don't think they will clean up a pond like tilapia.
