I keep reading and trying to understand this 'microzoosphere' phenomenum. Why would anyone want to use fish that filter out the(big) little animal critters and re-process it to cause more little green plants(phyto)to grow. As the report stated, it changes the community structure toward smaller zooplankton. What is being accomplished? I'm thinking I want larger daphnia, cyclops, microcrustaceans etc. in my pond. Where am I off base here?
