In NJ probably somewhere between 7 to 9 years for a five pounder. However I can get a female bass to 5 pounds in 5 years if it's pellet fed and stays on pellets. But it won't be as lengthy as it's natural feed counterpart. I harvested a 19 incher that was just under 6 pounds last year.
