Hi Dan. I had a guy come out from DISH network (or sum such co.) and the large ponderosa pines behind our house block southern exposure to the point there's no signal...he said if we put a 80 foot mast on our house we MIGHT get a signal....i actually thought that'd look cool, but didnt fly w/ wife. our topography didnt lend itself to a remote pole either, so we wait. the only upside is $9.95/mo for the dial up.....we are too far out for DSL, and cell coverage is real sketchy here. cable TV is in, but the digital (upper) bandwidth hasnt been added yet. thanks for asking.
