I honestly don't know how your plan will work, but it would be interesting to see what happens. If I were to attempt to "manage" my way out of this situation I would add a lot more bass. I would also have realistic expectations that these GSF will probably persist to some degree and directly compete with the BG limiting their potential somewhat.
