Cecil..............having been raised in Louisiana..............we use to catch these monsters all the time........nail some large treble hooks to a 3/4 inch plyboard about 6 to 9 hooks spaced out evenly.... the board should be 3 by 3 foot.......run a trotline or cable to a stump or shoreline.............bait with chicken and sink about a foot under the surface w/ a brick...once you catch him drag him to shore and fire up the stove!!!......good luck
