I talked to a guy who got a highway mowing contract with the State of Texas. He bought 4 Russian made tractors. When they broke down, there were neither parts nor competent mechanics to service them.

If I ever buy another tractor, it certainly won't be one with a fiberglass hood and fenders. The hood on my 4 year old JD is developing some cracks. I've been fiberglassing. It's gonna cost me about $450-500 to replace the hood, decals, etc. This means I will be buying older models next time.
