Generally that's a tractor that has been made in a foreign country, intended for sale in that foreign country, and brought here to this country for re-sale. A grey market machine is a machine that was not intended for the U.S. marketplace. I'm told the difference can be as simple as warning stickers and instrument differences to major design differences such as pumps and different bearing sizes on components....which is why parts are of utmost concern.
