Here are the final figures for my pond.
85' wide, 220' long 14' deep. Basically Oval Shaped.
The DNR told me to stock
100 Largemouth Bass
350 Blue Gill
200 Red Ear
50 Channel Catfish (only if I want them)
Personally, I like catching and eating catfish. He said they can make a pond too muddy? Is this true? I don't want Mud issues since I will be using this pond as a water supply for the house. The more cloudy and muddy the water, the tougher it will be to treat. Opinions?
