I'd guess 90 % of the ponds in my area are virtually expense free on a recurring basis. Very few people, unlike most of us here, spend anywhere near the time or money on them as we do....but then, they also miss out on the rewards. One of the most significant rewards, IMO, is the work itself and seeing the results of it.
