Just spent a week canoeing down the Pecos River in West Texas. Beautiful clear water. We caught all the Red Breasted Sunfish we wanted, and for the first time I cooked some. Usually, I throw them back and keep filet-sized bass. But after hearing so many of you state that Bluegill are your favorite eating fish, I had to try for myself, figuring Red Breasted would taste the same. They were yummy.
