Nice to hear from ya Wood. Looks like you had a great day out on the ice! We pulled our sugar taps about a week ago so winter and all that white stuff is just a memory now.

Thanks for posting, Wood! Now I don't feel so bad about my post indicating that the ice just went out on our ponds in the last week to 10 days. \:\) By the way, those both are very nice fish!

Wood,

For God's sake how far north are you? I really like my icefishing but your winter would be too long for me!

Your fish must have a short growing season. I can't imagine how old the walleye and pike are in the pics! Maybe it would be interesting if Dr. Willis would take a gander at one of their otolith bones. Of course the rings may be so close together it would be hard to age the fish.


If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
