For me, PB has become a spring board for the DIY pond owner. Unlike some others here, I received no hands-on assistance from my regional state fisheries department when I approached them about building a small pond. The fisheries and wildlife office refered me to the Soil Conservation Service As budgets tighten and programs are reduced and/or cut forums like this will become the information center for knowledge seekers AND providers.

This site will be what WE make of it.
