This sounds good. You could pretty much feed 9-10 months a year, I think, to one species or the other. It would help maximize the use of this small water. The small pond could be stocked with FH (possibly used as supplemental forage for the bigger pond at first) until the RT went in or you had BG big enough to reliably sex the males.
