HBG was referenced in my post because that's what seems to be predominant at the numerous hatcheries/fish farms listed at the MI Dept of AG web site and at the suppliers I'm most familiar with. I've pulled the list back out and see some sell both but not the two suppliers referenced. I do not have a preference unless it's the "right" or better one to stock. I thought the true bluegill WAS in fact the one I should choose based on posts here and other research. I will definitely take your "partial" qualification into to consideration!!! Should I take that as a vote for true blugill?

I was hoping to deal with one supplier but in the long run if it takes more than one to help this project work. I will do that.

I had planned on doing regular monitoring. I could still stock the forage in the spring...correct? The DO/temperature requirements of the forage is not as difficult to maintain/sensitive as the trout/perch....reasonable statement?? I look forward to partial or fully qualified aeration comments.
