It would not be good for the fish or the pond. Fish need fat as part of their diet, but not as a singular component. Besides, fat floats and puts out a film on top of the water which can create a barrier for water insects which breathe at the surface. If they can't break the film, they can't breathe. No breathe, no live. Plus, uneaten fat doesn't break down very quickly, and as it does, only adds to the nutrient loading of water. If you had suggested you might mix a little fat with some red meat, that would be different. But, fat alone does little good for fish or a pond. Good thinking, though. I like that 'out of the box' attitude.
