Pond Boss Forums INTRO Questions & Observations I've cooled off and I apologize

Most of you on here are a class act including Bob Lusk, and I should be appreciative he takes the time to police the site and really cares about what shows up on his site. Please accept my apologies. I think I was just having a bad day and over reacted.


However I still contend Ms. King has been unfairly attacked on here at times, but I will leave that up to Bob to determine and deal with from now on.

That's a huge relief to see you post, Cecil. A lot of what I do is based on your experience...both your successes and you "not so successes". I stand to learn so much from your posts that it would be a travesty for me personally to lose you and your great wealth of knowledge.

Glad your staying ,I look forward to your posts.I've only been here a short while and don't know the background ,but I agree with you about Ms. King.I felt kinda bad for her and sent a pm as soon as I read her post.I hope this is behind us as this has become my favorite site in what little time I've been here. Great bunch of people here.

Nope I'm a wannabe too. I am still learning and it will be a while until I know as much as I need to know to realize I don't know squat.

I now realize your comments that put me over the edge were an attempt at being funny and I over reacted. I would like to bury the hachet if that is O.K. with you. Is it a deal?

Thanks for the kinds words Bruce but I think we know the experience/success thing is the other way around.

I still haven't produced any monster bluegills for four or five years like you have. Hopefully the bluegill pond won't disappoint.

Believe it or not I've determined the gills in the bass/perch pond are below average in weight and one size group is actually stunted. That surprises me as there aren't that many. Apparently the bass and perch are eating many of the smaller ones which keeps their numbers down, but out competing them for food at larger sizes.

Sure hope I clean out the smbs for Sunil.

Alligator- click on "my profile" located at the top right hand side of every page. Click on "edit preferences". Down toward the bottom of the page, put a green check in the box to the right of "enable private messages". Then click on "update profile" button on the bottom of the page. Hope that helps!

Everyone, not having you here would be kind of like having a friend die. Cecil, all of us would be so much poorer for not having you here.

My mother has cancer and I'm here on the forum sporatically now. But ewest sent me a personal e-mail wishing me well and inquiring how things were going. Thank you. That's how I feel about so many people here. When Shorty and NEDOC post, it is like hearing from an old friend. When we were in Lincoln with my mother going through radiation therapy, Bruce Condello went out of his way to give me a place to get away from all of the stress of everything that was happening. These people are family now.

I like to fish with and visit with people that have very different views than I do. While the labels say that we should be at each other's throats, we quickly find that we agree on most things. In the areas we don't agree, we usually find that we are looking at things from a different vantage point. They see something we don't. We then get the benefit of seeing what we couldn't see from our own vantage point.

Thank you all for your views and for the great knowledge and experience you share with all of us.

I have never suspected nor asserted (publicly or in a PM) you of being the person who posted the unsightly pictures last year.

I did suggest insensititive and/or racial comments, however harmless they were intended, could bring Flammers such as those posted to PB last year since the two issues happened one after the other.

BTW, I checked my profile and have "none" on my ignore list, I apparently must be on your ignore list.

Alligator- go to "my profile" page again. On the right hand side between the first two boxes is "ignore list" . Mine has nobody on it but I think if there is there will be a box to uncheck.

I am pleased that everything is resolved. We are misunderstood so often that I personally hate to kid anyone because of the consequinces (sp). It is so good to see so many level headed people posting. Yes I also felt the young lady was picked on far to often and I am happy to see that quieted down.
