Dear Dr Frankenbruce,
I have been following your writings for many weeks now. The Runza diet that you propose intrigues me. I follow a low-fat diet regimen with regular exercise. Although no-fat cheese and the many other low-fat/no-fat dietary products have provided a good platform to maintain low cholesterol and related good health, I find them to be somewhat tasteless and bland. The Runza diet appears to the answer that I have been searching for. Do you believe that I should cast off those gimmicky health foods that I have been using and move to the Runza regimen? I am half German and half Scotch/Irish; my intestinal tract is fairly stout. My doctor has already confirmed my ability to handle this major dietary shift. My only fear is another major let-down as his last recommendation to try the White Castle diet was a huge failure.
