I couldn't agree with you more Ric. The weather patterns we are seeing is nothing new, and I have no reason to believe man is the cause of it. We can cut a tunnel through the mountains, but we did not make them. I guess what I'm aiming towards is advice on how to best prepare my pond and aquatic life for a possible second year of drought. My pond levels are down three feet and its hard to imagine a second year similar to this year. Our previous warm record for January was 1933, we beat it by 1/10 of a deg. Lets keep in mind that our rains may come from patterns formed in the oceans, but a good amount of the quick spring storms are pulled from moiture in the ground drawn from ( RAY). After the 500yr floods in the midwest in 93' our 94' season was also very wet. my fear this year could be a repeat showing of 05'
