I've always contended anglers are their own worst enemy. Case in point:

I have an old text book that did a survey on a local natural lake at the turn of the 20th century. THEY WERE HARVESTING 14 INCH BLUEGILLS IN THE SURVEY! 14 INCHES! And these were not hybrids. That lake or none that I know of produces 14 inch bluegills anymore.


If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
