Welcome to the forum, 777. It is good to have first hand feedback. Question, when you say 6-8 wks, that is the time between stops in each location during normal delivery months? How long would the fish have been on the truck at the last stop, say on a trip thru Miss.? Do you feel that 700 CC/acre is high for a seldom fished pond, and with other species in the pond?
Apparently there have been some dissatisfied customers who chose to become better informed and joined this forum, or had bad experiences years ago, before becoming informed. I am sure that happens with most fisheries that deliver. What do you think of the recommended stocking rates on the web site? Personally I would not have to be that well informed as the economics of stocking that many fish would send up a red flag. A little common sense would prevail. As has been stated in the past, "buyer beware". And as I have said, you cant protect everyone from themselves. May be too much rambling, but can you give guidance on the first 2 questions? BTW, what is you position and duties at the hatchery?
Thanks again and welcome.

Fish truck report,
Today I got some fish from there truck. The fish were loaded last night and the first stop was close to me. I got a few coppernose and a few pounds of FHM. The fish were about what I expected. In fair shape. The 1 - 3 inch CNBG are more like 1 - 2 inches, I payed for 50 I got 50. They look to be coppernose, I see distinct striped sides and they just look darker but there very small to tell for sure but do look like CNBG. The fatheads were in fair shape, mixed sizes, the fathead were actually bigger then the CNBG. I would say 15 dead out of 2 pounds when I got home. I also picked up a few gal of 10-34-0 liquid fertilizer. I saw a few other people pick up differnt things, the Hybrid LMB were tiny, the guy picked up RES and wasnt happy said they were small and didnt look good but I did not see them. Then grass carp were picked up and they looked big and nice to me. Overall its about what I expected (fair).

He was seriously shorted on HBG and gambusia last spring. He said the numbers were about 1/2 what he ordered. He didn't complain to the hatchery, because he didn't want to make a stink. He said he came out withmore than enough anyway.
