I thought the sky was falling and the world was about to end. There was a strange occurance and I was unsure of what it was. Weird dots of various sizes on my windshield. Then I finally figured it out. It was what they call rain. After I put two and two together I figured it out. I subscribed to Pondboss the other day and appeased the rain Gods and behold it has started to rain. Actually water falling from the sky. Go figure. Hope all who need it get some Today.

I got 95/100 in Hurst. I'm scared to call people up in the country to find out what happened there. The TV weather guy said we haven't had a one inch rain in 5 months. 50% chance for more Thursday.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Good for you guys. However how fast did the ground suck it up? I'll bet you can't even tell.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

It fell over a 12 to 14 hour period. The ground always wins when that happens.

I had the same thing happen here in Louisiana, right across the state line from Texas. The last measurable rain around here was from Hurricane Rita. Our pond was ridiculously low and the floating pier was looking kind of strange.
Now that the rains have come, where is winter? The wife and I went fishing Friday in our T-shirts and shorts.

I, too, was scared and confused by this strange moisture that seemed to fall from the sky. The elder of our tribe, Dave Davidson, says that it is called "rain", and that in years past it would actually fall for 2 or 3 days at a time... I got my car washed yesterday for the first time in 3 months -- go figure! I got 1.25" at my place, and I'm praying for more later this week...

Well, we managed to pull about 8 inches of hard, white rain (snow) out of our collective hats. Planted tulip bulbs last Wed night...6 inches down and BONE dry. Hopefully, this snow will melt of decent and provide some much needed soil moisture as well as a bit of runoff....
In a lifetime, the average driver will honk 15,250 times. My wife figures I'm due to die any day now...

Wish I could give yall some of our rain. It's been so rainy and muddy here lately I haven't been able to start digging my pond yet  We've caught a few sunny days this week but it's supposed to start raining again Saturday.
