I had the same thing happen here in Louisiana, right across the state line from Texas. The last measurable rain around here was from Hurricane Rita. Our pond was ridiculously low and the floating pier was looking kind of strange.
Now that the rains have come, where is winter? The wife and I went fishing Friday in our T-shirts and shorts.
