You wouldn't have any problems, in fact, with both males and females they may do too well and stunt on you as one female can produce several hundred thousand eggs. Kentucky does not allow their importation so that should tell you something.

I try to plant only female fish annually although a few males have apparently slipped through. However i have such a high density of bass the bass seem to keep the offspring in check.
