I was at my pond yesterday, and saw several hundred small juveniles around some sunken pallets(or frye, they were maybe 1/2" to 3/4" long).
I couldn't tell what they were exactly, but they had the shape of a Bluegill or Panfish.
I am fairly certain they were Black Crappie babies. My water temp was 64 degrees, and my Bluegill have not formed beds yet. Some LMB look like they may be creating beds. I did not see any Yellow Perch egg masses, but I could have missed it as I haven't been up to the pond much over the last 5 weeks.
