I haven't been following this GG thread very closely, but regardless of what we think of the GG, I'm disappointed that some of the conversation has been less than civil. From what I've seen Debra King has bent over backwards to be nice and we should reciprocate.
Come on now. This site is one of the best behaved sites I visit and I sure wish it would stay that way.
Let's let the experiment play out and discuss the data then. Please?
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Back to science... I like that! I have emailed ML and gotten his permission to move all pertinent info on this experiment onto a new thread. Is everyone else ok with that? I feel it would be a lot easier (and shorter) if we keep things simple on that thread with only info relevant to the experiment. Then anyone who is interested in the project won't have to sift through a thesis paper to find out what is going on, and those who are not interested can simply skip over the thread. Thanks! Deb

Deb I heard from client the GG looked good. I will try to catch some of them and take pic and measure them as well when I head that way. I will post lengths/weigths when they are caught on the proper thread.

Hi folks, It seems to me that George, Bill, Ewest, Cecil, etc., have made a good suggestion to allow the study to progress and let the numbers speak for themselves. Obviously, that's just my 2 cents worth.
If both Meadow and Greg are following GG stockings for us, they can provide a couple of interesting case histories. My only caution is that these long-term evaluations require years, so stay tuned but stay patient.

Eastland, I hope you will move your posts from here to the GG Argument Clinic rather than just deleting them. I think you made some good points, asked some good questions, and provided the basis for some discussion.
