That's certainly a good decision because it is indeed a lot more than just digging a hole. Bob Lusk says a lot of people can dig a hole but very few build a pond.
If you have that interest, then really watch carefully this time around and learn all you can. That is what I did before trying it myself the first time. I can tell you it really is a satisfying thing to do some or all of it yourself, but only after you are prepared to do so. You are taking a very wise approach...tell us how it goes and don't hesitate to ask questions. There is an amazing wealth of knowledge that supports this Forum. Thanks.
