Dave has good advice. Also be aware crappies love fathead minnows and you can attract them under your hole after dark with a lantern. However don't be afraid to try panfish jigs baited with beemoths during the day.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
