I'm not sure if it will stop it. Hopefully a fluid engineer will chime in. That is a 16 to 1 volume ratio. I know you can have an air leak and still get a pretty good syphon. I would be ready with a battery powered sawzall if it were me.
I think it would stop, but I wouldn't bet my lake on it.
