There was a little more to the article. Someone could also buy a yearly membership for $995, that includes all the fishing for you and you can bring one person on four occasions after that it would cost $50 per person.
The way the article is written implies that the "goal" of the project is to give families the oppurtunity to go fishing without the disapointments of not catching anything.
I think it sounds like a good way for the landowner to recouperate some of the costs that are associated with creating a fishery. It is kinda like a small bass club that is less exclusive. I'm not however saying that the pricing is right or wrong. Honestly, being a somewhat avid fisherman myself, I would have a hard time dishing out that kind of cash to go fishing for four hours.
