We may have missed the boat by not starting with a soil test of the pond bottom. They are usualy done by your state Coop. Ext. Service. Very cheap here and they outline and test soil for for pond matters. $6 last time I had one done. Check on that with your county agent. It will give you a good baseline to work from. ewest
