Not only there, but here too. Upper 90's for many weeks, only about 3" of rain since May. I could almost hear a hissing sound as Rita dumped over 6" of rain here.
My original plan was to pump water into my pond from a gully that flows pretty good after even a light shower. That way I would not need a well. Looks like I will need to go to "plan B" and dig a well.
Good luck with the drought. If your fish survive another week or 2, they should get the benefit of the rainy season.
