The pond is 15 feet at its deepest point. The pallets that I put shallow should be about 3-5 feet below surface level if the pond is full. But, I agree with David on drought issues, that's why I scattered the structure to be at multiple depths. I figure with North Texas climate, the pond will fluctuate between .5 and 1 surface acre.
I really thought I would get some rain this weekend, but I guess it is not to be. I planted my deer food plots on Labor Day, and have not had a drop since then.
