Pond Star says - "Is their a size of a BG where the bass will not eat it ,,,,, and does this effect which size you should target to remove from the pond".
Generally a LMbass will eat something it can quickly swallow. You could catch one of the average size bass and measure the width of the mouth (gape), then divide it by two. This is IMO the preferred height and those smaller items of BG that the bass will eat. Some say the width of the mouth is what a bass can eat, but not necessarily what it most commonly eats. ""If it fits in the mouth, it is adequate food for a bass"". IMO food availability as a density and its catchability has a lot to do with what a bass most often eats. Lots of studies and publications have been done on this topic.
Firstly - we should be knowing what your goals are for the fishery,,,,, and then it is very helpful to have more back ground information of the pond. Is there a link to your earlier Pond Boss Forum pond description and with what, and when it was stocked?.
Secondly -- in your 1/2 acre pond about how many LMB are you seeing coming to eat pellets vs. how many LMB were originally stocked?
Thirdly how big are the bass and the range of sizes? An appropriate number of bass as predators should be able to eat a lot of BG per year.
Fourthly how much habitat is in the 1/2 ac pond as cover for the BG?
Fifthly how clear is the water as estimate of inches, feet?
