Hi Setterguy, Looking at your pond, that dam would make really good spawning area. But, in my experience with SMB prefer much clearer water and lots of rock. There is no doubt the pond is fertile, it just might not be the right pond for SMB. I'm sure LMB would thrive in there, though. If it were my pond, I'd try building some spawning areas on the NW corner of the pond. I took your map, rotated it, placed a compass on it, and marked in red where I'd concentrate placing spawing areas not just for bass but maybe even the YP. Maybe some others on here have ideas?
